Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 September 2026

The agreement between you and SeenDicate: what you may do here, what we owe you, and what happens when something goes wrong.

Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or using SeenDicate you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the platform.

These terms are an agreement between you and «Xentawan Technology Development Soulution», registered in «Sierra Leone» at «46b Lumley road, wilberforce freetown». They are governed by the law of «Sierra Leone», and any dispute is for the courts of «Sierra Leone».

and courts for any dispute.

Your account

  • Give accurate details, and keep your sign-in secure. What happens under your account is your responsibility.
  • One account per person. Do not share it, and do not use somebody else’s.
  • A teacher account and a student account can be the same account holding both roles.

What teachers publish

  • You keep ownership of everything you create. You grant us the licence we need to host it, show it to the students you sell it to, and display its public details in the catalogue — nothing wider, and it ends when you unpublish.
  • Publish only work you have the right to publish. Uploading somebody else’s material without permission is grounds for removal.
  • A course published under a syndicate is reviewed by that syndicate before students see it, and is hosted under its name.
  • Any teacher may publish up to five courses independently. Beyond that, hosting runs through a syndicate.
  • Withdrawing a published course does not end your obligations to students already enrolled: their access continues through the notice period they were promised.

What students get

  • Enrolling gives you access to that course for the period stated when you enrolled — a fixed number of months, or until a stated date.
  • Access is for you alone. Do not share your account or redistribute course material.
  • Assignments attached to a week of a course have no deadline: you submit when you reach that week. A task set separately by a lecturer may carry one.
  • A certificate is awarded when its conditions are met. It is not something that can be bought, and we do not issue one on request.

Conduct

Course rooms are shared with a whole class. Treat them accordingly.

  • No harassment, abuse, or material that is unlawful where you or your students are.
  • Do not attempt to break, overload, or work around the platform’s access controls.
  • Do not misrepresent who you are or what qualifications you hold.
  • We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these terms. Where we do, we will say why.

Payments

  • Prices are shown before you pay. Payment is taken by our payment provider, not by us.
  • A teacher publishing independently sets their own price and receives the earnings from their sales, less the platform’s share, which is shown to them before publication.
  • Payouts are requested from the Finance tab and paid to the mobile money or bank account you nominate.
  • Prices are set in Sierra Leonean leones by the syndicate publishing the course. Payment is taken by Monime; we never see your card or wallet details.
  • A teacher or syndicate earns 70% of each sale and SeenDicate keeps 30% as the platform fee. Earnings become available «14» days after the sale and are paid out «monthly on request», with a minimum payout of «SLE 500».
  • If a course is withdrawn while you still have access, «we refund the unused part of your subscription». Otherwise «a purchase is final once you have opened the course».
  • timing. These are commercial terms only the operator can state.

Live classes

  • A class scheduled on the platform is between the lecturer and the students enrolled on that course.
  • Where a class is held on Google Meet, Google’s own terms apply to the meeting itself.
  • A lecturer can see who attended their class. Students are told this in the Privacy Policy.

Availability

We work to keep SeenDicate running, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable. Maintenance, a failure at one of the services we rely on, or circumstances outside our control can interrupt it.

Features that depend on a third party — Google Calendar, Google Meet, payments — depend on that third party being available too.

Ending it

  • You can stop using SeenDicate at any time, and ask us to delete your account.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
  • If your account ends, learning records that others depend on — a certificate somebody may verify, a syndicate’s record of a course it hosted — are kept as described in the Privacy Policy.

Liability

[TO CONFIRM] Limitation of liability, warranty disclaimers, and indemnities. These clauses decide who bears what when something goes badly wrong, they are constrained differently by different laws, and they should not be drafted from a template. Take advice before publishing this section.

Changes

We may change these terms. If a change affects you materially we will say so in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use SeenDicate after that means you accept it.

Questions about these terms go to alvinmoore817@gmail.com.
